Reach Dehradun Railway Station in the morning and meet the trekking team. Have an exciting drive from Dehradun to Mussoorie, Tehri, Karnaprayag, and Gwaldam to reach Lohajung. Witness spectacular views of the Himalayas en route. Check in at the guest house and attend the trek briefings. Savor dinner and spend the night in peace and simplicity.
After breakfast, begin your trek towards Bekaltal through dense oak and fir forests. The trail offers magnificent views of Nanda Ghunti Peak and surrounding valleys. Reach Bekaltal campsite after a scenic 4–5 hour trek, enjoy hot meals, and spend the evening amidst nature before an overnight stay in tents.
After having breakfast, you will start hiking towards the Bekaltal through the oak and fir forest. During the way, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Nanda Ghunti peak and valleys. It will take around 4-5 hours to reach the Bekaltal campsite. You can have hot meals and spend some time there, then you might have to stay overnight in the tents.
Start early in the morning for the summit attempt. Enjoy scenic views while trekking towards Brahmatal High Point and pass through a beautiful meadow of Brahmatal Valley. The view from the high point will provide you with a panoramic view of Mount Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Chaukhamba, and other Himalayan peaks. You will spend some time exploring the high point before heading back to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
After having breakfast, you return back towards Lohajung on the same trail. You will arrive the guest house by afternoon. There you can freshen up before spending your last evening in the mountains with your dinner and overnight stay.
Have fun having breakfast before heading back to Dehradun on the way back. Take a scenic drive through the Himalayas and return to Dehradun in the evening, thus concluding your Brahmatal Trek.
