Kashmir Winter Trip

Day 01

Srinagar Arrival | Shikara Ride

• You’ll be picked up from the airport and taken to Srinagar. In the early afternoon, everyone will meet at a common meeting point, where the trip captain will introduce themselves and brief the group about the trip.
• Afterwards, we'll check into our designated Houseboat. Afterwards, we'll go for a local sightseeing tour in the afternoon.
• We will visit the Mughal Gardens, famous for their terraced lawns, vibrant flowers, fountains, and stunning views of Dal Lake.
• Afterwards, we will go for a Shikara ride in the pristine Dal Lake, which is considered to be the jewel in Kashmir's crown.
• In the evening, we'll have dinner followed by an overnight stay in our houseboat in Srinagar.

Note:

A single airport pickup will be provided at 10:30 AM

Standard Check-In time is 01:00 PM.

Day 02

Drive to Gulmarg (50 Kms, 2 Hours) | Gondola Ride

• After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our houseboats and head towards Gulmarg which is one of the most popular hill stations of Kashmir known for its snow-covered meadows and skiing slopes.
• Upon our arrival in Gulmarg, we'll indulge in a Gondola ride that will lead us to Kongdoori Peak. Travelers can also indulge in adventure activities such as Skiing, Snowmobiling, Sledging, etc.
• In the evening, we'll head back to Gulmarg where we'll check into our hotel. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Note: Gondola ride tickets are subject to availability. In the event that tickets are not available, we cannot be held responsible. Rest assured, we will do our utmost to offer you an alternative solution.

Highlight of the Day: Gondola Ride to Kongdoori Peak, Snow activities (own expenses)  

Day 03

Drung Waterfall | Drive to Pahalgam (142 Kms, 4 Hours)

• After early morning breakfast, we’ll check out of our hotel and head for a sightseeing tour.
• Board your vehicle as we will be traversing through winding roads offering surreal views via Pampore and Awantipura.
• We’ll visit the Drung Waterfall which often freezes in winter and becomes a breathtaking sight to behold.
• Afterward, we'll head towards Pahalgam which is yet another beautiful hill station in Kashmir known for its picturesque snow-covered meadows.
• Upon reaching Pahalgam, we'll check into our hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner is followed by an overnight stay.

Note: Travelers can either opt for ATV rides or local cabs for visiting Drung. ATV rides would be at personal expense while the local cab is included in the package.

Highlight of the Day: Drung Waterfall, Scenic drive to Pahalgam

Day 04

Pahalgam Sightseeing | Drive to Srinagar (90 Kms, 2 Hours)

• After early morning breakfast, we’ll check out of our hotel and head for a sightseeing tour of Pahalgam.
• We'll visit Aru Valley which is known for its scenic meadows and the Tarsar Marsar Lakes. We’ll also visit the enchanting Betaab Valley which is nestled between the Pir Panjal and Zanskar ranges of the Himalayas.
• Lastly, we’ll visit Chandanwadi which is the starting point for the Amarnath Yatra and is known for many snow activities like skiing and snowboarding.
• After our sightseeing tour, we'll head back to Srinagar.
• Upon our arrival, we’ll check into the hotel and retire for the day.

Note: Depending on the weather conditions, Aru/Chandanwadi gets closed during heavy snowfall and hence a visit to these valleys is subject to availability.

Day 05

Sonmarg Local Excursion

• You will start your morning with a traditional Kashmiri breakfast featuring Harisa, Noon Chai, Girda & Kulcha, Halwa Paratha, and Chana Chat.
• we'll head to Sonmarg Valley which is yet another gem hidden in the embrace of Kashmir known for its green pastures and pristine water bodies.
• After spending some peaceful moments in the valley, we'll head back to Srinagar.
• In the evening, enjoy a hearty local dinner with Nadur Yakhni, Walnut Chutney, and Hokk Syun.
• Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Note: If due to weather conditions, a visit to Sonmarg is not possible, we'll visit Yousmarg/Doodhpatri instead.

Day 06

Departure from Srinagar | Trip Ends

• After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our hotel.
• The group will go their separate ways with fond memories according to their scheduled departures.
• Trip Ends.

Please book your return flight on this day after consulting with your Trip Coordinator.

Standard Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

• Accommodations on sharing basis as per Itinerary.
• Meal Plan: MAP Plan (Total 10 Meals - 1 Meal on Day 1 (D) + 2 Meals on Day 2 (B+D) + 2 Meals on Day 3 (B+D) + 2 Meals on Day 4 (B+D) + 2 Meals on Day 5 (B+D) + 1 Meal on Day 6 (B)).
• Special Breakfast and Dinner on Day 5.

• 1-hour Shikara Ride in Dal Lake.

• Local Cab (Sumo/Bolero) for visiting Drung Waterfall.
• Chained Cab (Sumo/Bolero) from Tangmarg to Gulmarg and back in case of heavy snowfall resulting in a roadblock.
• All kinds of Permits.

Cost Excludes

• 5% GST
• Early check-in (Before 1:00 PM) & Late Check-out (After 11:00 AM) at the hotel.
• Adventure activities such as Skiing, Snowmobile, Sledging, ATV rides, and Horse Riding.
• Any other cab required for any local shopping or others which is not mentioned in the itinerary
• Any additional expenses of personal nature.
• Additional accommodation/food costs incurred due to any delayed travel.
• Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in Package Inclusions.
• Any Airfare / Rail fare other than what is mentioned in “Inclusions” or any type of transportation from Srinagar.
• Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
• Additional Costs due to Flight Cancellations, Landslides, Roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
• Any other services not specified above in inclusions.
