Welcome to Srinagar! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to Gulmarg. After checking in at your hotel, head to the Gulmarg Union Cab Stand. From there, you can either walk or take a cab to the Gondola cable car station. Ascend in the gondola (tickets not included) and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. You can also visit the beautiful Drung Waterfall or explore the picturesque Strawberry Valley before returning to the Gulmarg Union Cab Stand. Finally, you'll be driven back to your hotel for the night.
Today, after checking out, enjoy a scenic drive to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the city at your own pace, visiting landmarks like Hari Parbat, a hilltop fortress with stunning views of the city. Admire the Indo-Saracenic architecture of the Jamia Masjid or indulge in a cup of Kahwa, a traditional Kashmiri green tea infused with spices and nuts. After your explorations, return to your hotel at your convenience.
After check-out, embark on a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Start by exploring the beautiful Mughal Gardens, such as Nishat Bagh, and soak in the stunning views of Dal Lake. Continue your tour by admiring the Persian-style terraces of Shalimar Bagh and marvel at the Mughal architecture of Pari Mahal. Visit the sacred Shankaracharya Temple, where you can pay your respects and enjoy a panoramic view of the city and Dal Lake from the temple. Later, take a traditional Shikara ride on Dal Lake before checking in to your houseboat for an unforgettable overnight stay.
